    Self-Defense: the right to use reasonable force to protect oneself or members of your family from bodily harm, or to a lesser extent, one's property, from the attack of an aggressor, if the defender has reason to believe he/she/they /are in danger.

    According to The Criminal Victimization Report of 2009, which was published by The Bureau of Justice Statistics, Office of Justice Programs (, in 2009, an estimated 4.3 million violent crimes (rapes or sexual assaults, robberies, aggravated assaults and simple assaults) occurred. AND IF YOU BELIEVE THIS IS JUST FOR WOMEN, according to the same report, men were slightly more likely than women to be victims of violent crime. Women were more likely than men to be victimized by someone they knew.

    Course description:
    This Self-Defense program will focus on practical defense responses to real life situations. Attendees for this course should wear non-restrictive clothing. To participate in this class, you must sign a liability waiver and complete a registration form.
